- • Tuesday was always listed as the practice day and the show is Wednesday.
- • The Thunderbirds do not fly around in the morning on the day of the show, Wednesday. This only happens on Tuesday.
- • Parking costs go up on Wednesday as you would expect.
- • Tuesday nothing is broadcasted on the radio, so you are never sure when the next crafts are arriving or what you are seeing.
- • The planes enter from north end. Years ago, on the practice day, you could get out on the pier I said to meet by. The last two years, this has been closed. fingers crossed it is reopened this year
- • If not, I would head south of the pier, maybe 100-150 yards and get close to the water. Last year I was shooting from knee to thigh deep water. The waves were very small. Again, fingers crossed.
- • Bring sunscreen, a chair, food and water. Lot's of water.
- • If you stay to the end of the show on Wednesday, expect traffic when you leave.
